You do not need expensive and trendy clothes to look professional and credible. However, I would recommend on investing in the following wardrobe basics:
1. Navy Blue or Dark Gray Suit
2. Black leather belt
3. Black leather shoes
4. White Dress Shirt - 2 would be good
5. Blue Navy Blazer - though it's much more practical to use the suit blazer, it might have a different color when worn often and would not match the color of the suit pants
6. Grey flannel slacks
7. Khakis
8. Black Socks
9. Solid tie (dark color)
10. Overcoat
